Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! My winter garden against the living room windows. I let these little plants be my decorations for the season.

Hazy still on last Sat.

Looking towards the golf course, the sky still was hazy. You can barely see the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance!

A party was happening in the picnic shelter at Lake Tomahawk...but those clouds sure were dull compared to other July photos around noon.

Sure hope the fires are put out in Canada and the northwest of the US. I feel so bad about the many square miles of lost forest. These blue slopes are much closer than the ones behind the golf course.

  1. Hello,
Pretty views of the mountains and the lake. It is a pretty park and picnic area. I hope the area with the wildfires have some much needed rain. Have a great day!

    1. I feel for those who live closer to the many fires...both human and animals! Thanks for comment.

    1. I had no mask when I took the trash out this morning...and smelled the smoke. Oh well...the mask protects us from smoke particles as well as virus particles!

    1. Yes, we made a good choice coming from FL (though you've been here long enough to be considered a native by now!)

    1. Thanks...I'd love for the air to be pristine, like I chose to have mountain views and fresh air when I moved here. Hope you all are able to breathe clean air these days of fires.
