The gardenia has buds, and one has opened (a second so far this year) I am just plain floored...it is quite an old plant, and half has died back, and I haul it inside each winter...
the gardenia that could...keep on blooming.

...I can almost smell it!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI wish I could smell the scent, lovely.
Have a great day!
I was always sorry that any perfume that tried to smell like Gardenias failed so badly.
DeletePersistence is a beautiful thing!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly takes the cake!
DeleteWonderful! I've had and lost several gardenias over the years. But being reminded of the wonderful fragrance makes me want to try again.
ReplyDeleteI liked that often for proms, my dates would give me a gardenia rather than an orchid. I much preferred the gardenia corsages.
DeleteIt's hard to keep a good plant down. It looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI sure is in good health where it's still alive!
DeleteGardenias usually have a lovely fragrance. Does yours?
ReplyDeleteYes and I do enjoy it!
DeleteLovely!
