Mom potter, and young potter son

When I was in art school at the University of Florida, I took a photography course, which was required of ceramics majors, thinking that way we could prepare our portfolios.  This is one of my favorite pictures of myself and my youngest son, Tai Rogers, when he was 3.

I loved the black and white photos, which reminds me of earlier film, but gave such great details.
Here is a picture of Tai and myself a few years ago when he was about 30.  So much has changed...and I'm proud to say he has his first degree in ceramics (Eckerd College) and is now working on his MBA (also in ceramics) at Indiana University.  That's his sculpture on the fence behind us.
