Who knew all this would happen afterwards! My winter garden against the living room windows. I let these little plants be my decorations for the season.

Last Saturday morning in Black Mountain
One of the MudBuddies, with her beautiful wares on display
A choice of three sizes of bouquets...I got a medium size.
It may have been in the 80s, but most of the displays were shady for this week's Tailgate Market.
It was a nice day, and I need to look more carefully at the pottery. The flowers looked very nice at the market, but didn't last very well when I got home. Thanks for commenting!
It's always fun to stroll around the market. The lines of people separated by 6 feet make it somewhat difficult at times...since they want to be in line for one booth, but the one next to it has a line too.
I think I like man buns too, but really just the thought of a man or woman with long hair hanging down in this heat is enough to urge at least ponytails!
I remember when we discussed selling potter first, and what name we should call ourselves...many moons ago. I wonder if I still have any blogs about that!
It looks like a nice farmer's market. The pottery is pretty and I saw where you bought your flowers. Maybe the summer heat took out all their moisture so that they did not last as long as usual? It has been unusually hot here this summer in Colorado. I'm not a fan of excessive heat!

Delete...it's nice to see life becoming a bit more normal.
ReplyDeleteBut we're about to all wear our masks again (even if vaccinated) when indoors...to avoid the variants.
DeleteLooks like it was a fine day to be out and about.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very nice day.
DeleteSounds like you enjoyed it.

DeleteOh, a man bun in the first pic. My wife likes them, but I hate them.
ReplyDeleteI've decided I like man buns too, especially since the option would either be a ponytail or having long hair on shoulders in this neat.
DeleteThat was a typo, of course...Heat.
DeleteWhat lovely bouquets! And re man buns, AC--I like them too.
