She gladly showed me her Joe Pie Weed in the butterfly garden, because I got it mixed up with Sedum (see below.)
I love Echinacea seed heads.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteLove the monkey with the pumpkin. The butterfly garden and flowers is beautiful.
Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy new week!
Thanks, Eileen...I hope you have a great new week as well!
DeleteI think Joe Pye weed is a type of comfrey. It grows all over the place here.
ReplyDeleteNice butterfly garden! 🦋 🪴
Oh, and since it was only identified for me in the field, or gardens, I didn't think of spelling it Pye! That's a good one on me!
Delete...the anemone are lovely, it may be the variety September Charm.
ReplyDeleteI saw some more growing in a very strange place, but I've heard they do reseed well.
DeleteYour echinacea pic and comment reminds me that we will soon be deadheading ours. Yes, it is that time of year in The Great White North.
ReplyDeleteDo you collect the echinacea seeds? Or why do you deadhead them?
DeleteHanuman looks very pleased with his prize!
ReplyDeleteThanks, my friend thought it was a great improvement.
DeleteLovely flower garden there. Hanuman is very interesting, makes me think of a early primate Buddha.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I love thinking of Buddha as an early primate, then perhaps he evolved into an Indian man.
DeleteHanuman looks very satisfied now with the pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteWe must keep our various gods happy, or at least decorated for the season!
DeleteLovely flowers--and the monkey looks pleased with his pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I appreciate other's gardens very much these days!
DeleteLovely shots.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to stop by.
DeletePretty garden! Your header is impressive.
