Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Rainy days

With the window open for the residual rain shower, it tends to blow drops from the screen onto the windowsill...so there's a towel catching the last rain drops while the wonderful clean air is welcome inside...on a day when it was low 70s.

And then we had solid rain showers after tropical storm Fred came close.. On some very wet coolish days I've even turned the heat on (with windows closed of course.)

Today's quote:

My religion is nature. That’s what arouses those feelings of wonder and mysticism and gratitude in me.

  2. I usually see raindrops all over our window screens, but the window is closed. The humidity has been awful lately.
We are getting rain every day this week and we had a tornado warning last night. Have a great day!

    1. Yes, it is nice, though humid! I do like the sound of rain dripping off leaves for the hour or so after it stops.

  6. We need rain here. It's looked threatening outside for an hour or so, but nothing thus far.
