Another bit of spring

 

I was thrilled to see this pretty tree outside the cardiac treatment center.



But the bigger shots sort of failed...they look very out of focus to me.

Happy St. Patty's Day to all of the Irish and descendants of the Irish!

    My daughter gave me a sprig of pussy willow to force. I have it on the window sill. You feeling better?

      Thanks Marcia...more energy today, and cough is much better. I wish it would just go away forever...but that's just wishful thinking (though if it should have a cure, I'd sign up!) Oh take a photo of your pussy willow when it blossoms! That sound great.

    The blossoms do look wonderful. Sometimes I have to go semi manual and tell the camera where to focus. Well, it's not so much sometimes as always.

      I keep trying to tell the camera (on phone) which close thing to focus on. It prefers the background however. Maybe I wiggled the phone on that last shot.

      I believe you...storm systems keep on crossing the country. Maybe by the middle of April we'll feel safe from snow.

      Captured in Asheville, which is a couple hundred feet lower that Black Mountain where I live. But these might be blooming by now.

      Asheville, where this tree is located, is a bit lower in elevation, and usually warmer than my home in Black Mountain.

      Thanks...you made me wonder...I don't remember any scent from these blossoms. Now I do have somewhat impaired sense of smell. But I need to do more deep inhaling. Since at least I've had all my shots, it's probably not due to Covid!
