Update about blogCa

I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

Blue Ridge Apartments

The sign at the entrance to the apartments. It's not totally accurate, as the office is now open until 4 pm.

A lovely little begonia plant, dropping it's old flowers onto the ground. That's why I stopped raising any begonias indoors...too messy.

Today's quote:
When all the ordinary divides and patterns are shattered, people step up to become their brothers’ keepers. And that purposefulness and connectedness bring joy even amidst death, chaos, fear, and loss.  - REBECCA SOLNIT

  1. Hello,

It is a pretty plant and blooms, a shame it is messy. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great week!

  3. Begonias Begone! :)
We have them in pots outdoors, so I have never noticed a problem, which doesn't mean that there isn't one. :)

  4. I like your quote. One would expect to see a bit more of that in these troubled times. Maybe after the asteroid hits...
