Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! The Flat Creek walkway has clumps of debris still, and lots of sand and rocks on the flats across from the paved walk (which shows no damage from Hurricane Helene.) However as you walk further up the creek, you come to the mobile homes which survived, or didn't, the rising waters.

Saturday's Critters

I love that other people take photos of animals and post them on Facebook. I'll try to give credit to the photographers. Then there are the artists too! No not the animals, though I've heard certain elephants show promise with brush and canvas.

Today's quote:

"We want to be something more than the appendages of Society; we want that Woman should be the coequal and help-meet of Man in all the interest and perils and enjoyments of human life. We want that she should attain to the development of her nature and womanhood; we want that when she dies, it may not be written on her gravestone that she was the 'relict' of somebody."
Lucy Stone, (1818-1893) abolitionist and suffragist, one of the original Transcendentalists, at the first national Women's Rights Convention opened in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Oct. 23, 1850.

Well we came a bit near but in some countries I do not see it happen that women will ever be treated equal...

    1. There is truth unfortunately that world wide, some places will continue traditional second class treatment of it's women.

    1. Yes, that quote was very timely, to arrive in my FB posts last week. Now FB is just a mishmash of things that I have little interest in. Who knows if it will continue to be a source of material for my posts here!
