      They are so pretty! I actually prefer the Italian spelling Stella d'Oro

    The advantage of the Stellas is that they are rebloomers. I am not aware of any other daylilies that do that although I am guessing that some exist. So, we had them in our previous garden, but I didn't like them. They seemed messy to me, and I got tired of them. I realize that they are popular, which is why I planted them, but after a few years, I realized that I didn't prefer them. I can enjoy them in your photos, however.

      Yes, I'm also pretty tired of them...shaggy leaves entwined with grasses.

      I like them while they bloom, but there are all those shaggy leaves with grasses along side growing tall.

    Wheat a lovely cheery flower. I planted 'pardon me' a few years ago, dividing at planting. It's been in the huff since and yet to flower again - maybe this year. It's not daylily flowering time here in Scotland yet.

    Your link published, it's how I got here! You have to refresh for it to show. Lovely daylilies. Mine are still in bud, or too young to flower. I do have nice ditch lilies, but they don't really count, do they?

    oh I had Stella de Oro, but I managed to kill them, or rather, they did not want to grow in my garden :/ .... Your link is active on May Dream's bloom day page, that's how I found your blog.
