Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Coming home

After a trip to Asheville, it's always so wonderful to come over a hill and suddenly see the mountains of home...Black Mountain is just 15 miles down I-40.  Even with a bit of rain, I just love this view.

Today's quote:
A plant is a weed only within a certain context; one person's weed is another person's wildflower.

    1. Little shower of rain didn't provide enough for gardens...so I water my pots of plants every other day.

  3. Mountinas do tend to lift the soul. Unfortunately, we have nice hereabouts.

    1. I think you meant you have none...sorry about that. But I'm also not a professional photographer, so the rain drops do detract from my attempt to capture my favorite mountains. Thanks for comments!
