more Santa Fe

There may be some duplicates of shots I already shared!

An interesting cactus form...there are some little yellow blooms.

Lavender grew into huge bushes in Albuquerque as well as Santa Fe!

I wondered what a 1 bedroom apartment might cost in Santa Fe.

A nice shady park which attracted dog walkers.
 And watchers...

This "arts and crafts" style architecture was rare...the adobe southwest look must have been a zoning law for Santa Fe.

Today's quote:

When we come full circle, there is the feeling that we have come to a familiar place, but we are somehow different

  1. Good thing you are still in Sante Fe, NM. Denver is getting snow tonight. Temps have dropped 30 degrees already. Tomorrow a high of 28 and Friday morning will be 15 degrees! Winter has arrived!!! :) (70 by next Weds).

    1. I saw that on the weather report last night. But actually I'm already home in NC...still posting vacation photos tho. It's so nice that it cooled off here, while I was gone I heard it was in the 90s in Oct. Being in high desert country I never was hot.

  2. Wow! You've been busy posting photos in the last few days! That looks a wonderful place to wander, I especially like the ethnic art on display.

    1. There were so many shades of brown, rust, beige, tan. Lots of little dark green spots of low plants across the ground.
