Update about blogCa

I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

Four Corners and the moon



 There was the moon to the south as we drove home back to Colorado...past the Four Corners turnoff. We said we'd not visit it, and just say we didn't. The meeting of the 4 states is commemorated on the ground, and we figured we'd not really enjoy it after dark.

      Thanks Eileen...I finally have time to move about within limits of this old body and the budget. It seems we all deal with something in stretching our boundaries!
