There's lots of land which isn't planted in gardens...

Ah, like allotment gardens here..looking good
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a community garden, where people pay for a certain area where they can plant to their heart's content. I walked there at the very end of summer (late September.)
DeleteProduce produce: we all know how to say it, but isn't English strange?
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is. I always love seeing how words spelled the same, but with different meanings, just trip off our tongues.
DeleteEnglish has assimilated words from so many other languages...find the source and that leads to the pronunciation, and spelling. I wish people would be more careful about the spelling.. but they probably have never thought about language and history. I think , as a side observation, that it is comical how some rail about Americanisms...when they are actually words that came from England, and accents...like Boston!
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteNice views of the garden and mountains. I love the last river scene and photo! Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy new week!
Yes, walking along a path by running water is one of my favorite activities, any time of year. Have a great week yourself and your loved ones as well!
DeleteWhat a great area to have a community garden. Lovely views and a good quote. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful idea and such a great (and picturesque) use of the land.
