Promises coming into fruition

Dec 26...2021

Dec. 27,  2021

Dec. 28, 2021

First and second blooms open on the plant which has the strange branch as well as buds...

Buds aren't the only thing that's open today...my windows are open! Dec. 27 and it's 64 degrees F and due to get to 67 again...as yesterday and perhaps the rest of the week. There might be rain before the end of the week. Of course I wrote this on the 27th...so by the time it's published on the 1st, I will have already experienced that weather...isn't it fun to play with time!

Happy New Year...it only means remembering to write 22 rather than 21 as the date. Otherwise we just have the same Now-ness.

Today's quote:

Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages.

-Thomas Edison, inventor (11 Feb 1847-1931)

I wonder if he was vegan. Not likely!

  6. Your orchids are beautiful. We just had the mildest New Years eve ever at 12.4C (54F) and it didn't get below that all night.

  7. Look at those blossoms. Lovely. I have some paper whites on my window sill that are starting to sprout from their bulbs. Not sure how long it will be before buds emerge.
