Walk Sunday morning

 Today's quote:

The first being one must have compassion for
is oneself.
You can't be a witness to your thoughts
with a chip on your shoulder or an axe to grind.

Ramana Maharshi said,
"If people would stop wailing alas I am a sinner
and use all that energy to get on with it
they would all be enlightened."

He also said,
"When you're cleaning up the outer temple
before going to the inner temple,
don't stop to read everything
you're going to throw away..."

    1. Thanks. I was surprised to see the Lake so foggy still after the sun had come up. It didn't last however.

    1. Hi Tom...in the mountains we just get fog from all the trees and creeks...almost nightly it's very humid. Then the sun dries it all up and we get into the 80s in the daytime, with an occasional thunder storm in afternoons.

    1. I thought of how you might choose different views, different format. It was a great opportunity to take some photos. Not that great for me to walk though. I managed 10 minutes.

    1. I like being able to see the mountains usually, but this closeness comes with fog.
