Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Spring is sprunging!
From another year, Lilies of the Valley.
And today I saw this!
A Bradford Pear has decided it's spring.
And this! (With all the lawn care spreading chemicals around, it's a very strong dandelion to come up in our grass!)
Oh yes, the dandelions that are not dandy.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's even an old wives tale (and young wives too) of eating the little greens in spring. Personally I just like blowing on the seeds.
DeleteYes! You remind me that I should photograph spring springing up here too. Oh the colors are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, and I'm looking forward to seeing your spring here in blogland. These quarantined days mean much more screen time
Delete...I hope that it puts a spring in your step.
ReplyDeleteOh you're funny. I could sure use one...sprong sprong sprong!
DeleteThose dandelions are survivors and tough.
ReplyDeleteThere were many years that I put chemicals on them to get rid of them, I'm ashamed to say. No more.
DeleteYou're well ahead of us.
