Who knew all this would happen afterwards! My winter garden against the living room windows. I let these little plants be my decorations for the season.

Saturday at the Lake

There were five ducklings...two of whom were a bit bigger than the other 3, and just one mom Mallard sort of following them, more than they followed her.

Mom and the 3 smaller ducklings.

Today's quote:

When we wish for something, our consciousness opens to receiving it, like a flower unfolding its petals to receive a bee.

  2. The cycle of life. Enjoy your weekend. It's a holiday weekend here, but it doesn't really change anything for us.

    1. Thanks AC, I wonder what you all are celebrating. Yes us retired but not too tired folks can't tell much difference here either. But I do avoid the traffic here which will be worse next weekend for us. Memorial Day is coming.

  4. Beautiful photos of mama duck and her ducklings. The lovely reflections of the clouds in the lake there are called Skypools. I'm so glad to see that there.
