DeleteMy mum did a lot of embroidery but she wasn't really into "abstract". Charming vase!
ReplyDeleteI know, I sure wouldn't have thought of it as a medium for art, but have the old fashioned attitude (which I'm slowly letting go of) that embroidery is just a decorative flourish on a functional piece of cloth.
DeleteThe embroidery and the human cell look so similar! Fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what caught my attention too!
DeleteLovely embroidery and your bee vase is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. And I just ran into some old quotes in a file and found one by you. I'll have to see if it's something you don't mind sharing, soon!
