Some huge quince bushes in a back yard nearby.
Hellebore blooms being held by my local nursery owner, Mellie.

A new hanging geranium came home with me, and will spend the night inside if the weather gets cold again at night. (I wonder how cold...)
I have some more shots to share from Mellie Mac's nursery visit last Saturday.

History making news:
Yesterday I watched a live stream on YouTube of Cory Booker's filibuster in the US Senate...from about 5 pm till he passed the 25 hour mark and yielded the floor around 8 pm.
On the video he yields the floor at mark 10.32, and there are other Senate business matters also on the video. His staff prepared books of elements for his sharing while giving this long speech, and there were many Democrat Senators which asked to have a question of him, which gave him short breaks from his continuous speech. I don't know if these "questions" were included in the video above...but they were linking the NJ senator (Booker) to their own constituencies.
And when I got up this morning, I saw that
"County judge Susan Crawford has won election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court."
The two races in FL stayed Republican, but Wisconsin now has a chance to right some wrongs, including gerrymandered districts which give un-representative weight to Republicans in all levels of government.
The biggest part of this news is that no amount of Elon Musk's money was able to buy this election!
Beautiful flowers and blossoms. I love the purple azaleas. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and commenting, Eileen. Hope you have a great day too!
DeleteI do like a nursery visit this time of year. All so promising.
ReplyDeleteTrue, promises of beauty that are just so abundant. the annuals aren't in yet, but sweet pansies are more cold tolerant.
Delete...enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
ReplyDeleteEach and every little thing!
DeleteIt’s looking pretty blooming good.
ReplyDeleteWe will probably have some more freezing weather...so I will bring everyone inside, after today's rain that is.
DeleteBooker was inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHe was so rational and just tied back into Lewis' words a few times...but had enough material to continue on and on! Physically must have been demanding!
DeleteBig round of applause for Booker. Beautiful flowers are making their appearance everywhere.
ReplyDeleteIt's so wonderful to have beauty available free everywhere!
DeleteHe was inspiring! I am so ready for flowers...
ReplyDeleteYes inspiring was definitely a good word...but then tonight's news had the orange one gloating about his tariffs. I didn't even listen. The good news was that Musk is leaving. I'll believe it when I see it. Yes...I've put silk flowers all over the living room to brighten it up, though the maples outside are beginning their red phase.
DeleteBeautiful blooms! Might the one you are not sure of be a double azalea?
ReplyDeleteI too bought plants on Tuesday but have not yet planted them. Maybe today.
Love Cory Booker!
Thank God the voters of Wisconsin weren't bamboozled.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank YOU for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2025/03/more-floral-fantasies-philly-flower-show.html
Musk’s antics were a negative and showed that the conservatives are corrupt.
