Telluride is very busy in winter & summer but not spring!
First snowball went to my son’s back, purposefully missing him. So he took this of my very cold hands! My big achievement, a snowball on April 11 In Colorado mountains! We continued on up to the ski resort of Telluride.
The lift gondolas were working, and here one leaves it's shadow on the stream below.
There was more...so I'll post tomorrow some other photos.
Today's quote:
Your very own inner wisdom should be valued more than any other and will always guide you in the direction you need to travel.
...mud season is a fact of life.
ReplyDeleteThat it is, Tom. And we're ever so grateful for anything that is a reasonable amount of moisture. (Just not to hurricane levels please!)
DeleteWonderful photos from Telluride. Take care, have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThanks...a most enjoyable ride up to this little town.
DeleteJust as our pile has finally disappeared. 😀
ReplyDeleteHey, that's great news! You're going to have flowers before you know it!
DeleteThat looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteYep, I think we all have a child at heart...no matter our age on the outside!
DeleteLooks like your are experiencing many seasons in one fell swoop!
ReplyDeleteI left most of springtime back in North Carolina, but this is the day I go home, so hope to have a bit of blossoms to enjoy still. The Colorado southwest has been in drought conditions for quite a wile.
DeleteYou look like you are having a great visit.
ReplyDeleteComing off of the pneumonia last month, and then dealing with the altitude change, my breathing has been quite a limitation. Other than that, so glad to spend time with my family.
DeleteGlad to see you in the snow and having a good time, Barbara.
ReplyDeleteThat snow ball event was of course the "stated purpose of the trip." But when I look at the 199 photos I took, I'm tossing quite a few of them!
DeleteGood to see you having a ball, snow that is. :)
ReplyDeleteGroan, what a good joke on me!!
DeleteHi Barbara, Just beautiful scenery even with the snow... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
