The Art in Bloom show at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts is delightful...wonderful displays of flowers based upon the inspirations from pieces of art. There were also garden tours Saturday and Sunday throughout town in our neighbor's yards. Mesa Verde mysteries


 Below is the 20 room dwelling, in the shadows near the top...a larger photo comes next


It's pretty hard to believe there are 20 rooms.


 Below is the Cliff Palace








The Native Americans who now live in the Southwest corner of Colorado are not descendants of these cliff-dwellers who disappeared in the 1300s.  So they have stories as to where the "Anasazi" may have gone...or why. What do you think?
