Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Midsummer is this next Saturday, the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere.

Helen said "I only like my picture when we take one together."
It
took about 3 tries, when we were both smiling and had our eyes
open...and I'm thrilled with it. Good friends are so wonderful in my
life these days.
