THICH NHAT HANH From my family albums: In college I had a supporting role in the musical play, The Boyfriend. The only thing I remember about the performance was seeing my parents in the audience, then missing my line completely. |
...Barbara, this is a wonderful collection and thanks for introducing to Fibonacci spirals!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday, Tom!
DeleteI drew a complete blank in a song that my group performed at a fiddle workshop. It was to highlight what we had accomplished that day. Fortunately, we were in a group, so I kind of muffed along. I knew it well and then blanked.
ReplyDeleteIt was my first (but not last) stage fright. I continued to try to get more comfortable in front of groups...pushed myself throughout life, and now know I really want to be behind the scenes of things!
DeleteThat's a lovely watercolor, the sunflower. It's always a great subject.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see how other artists work with different mediums.
DeleteI love the sunflower and the sculpture. I always enjoy seeing your old family photos. Happy memories. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ahead, Eileen. Loved your Monday post of the glacier!
DeleteWhen nature finds a form that works she uses it over and over.
ReplyDeleteA good lesson to us lesser forms of life!
DeleteYou find such beautiful and thought-provoking things to show us.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am trying to limit the amount I save from the internet. It's hard though.
DeleteNever thought that sunflowers were Fibonacci circles. I have several volunteer ones in the garden.
ReplyDeleteOh that's great. I've grown a few that were beautiful, and many times missed completely.
DeleteNature has the most perfect form and it is full of mathematics.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed to find the mathematics in nature...where everything looks so random! Ha ha!
DeleteLove the spirals! I always enjoy finding them--like the purple cabbage--one of my favorites.
