From my family albums:

In college I had a supporting role in the musical play, The Boyfriend. The only thing I remember about the performance was seeing my parents in the audience, then missing my line completely.

I'm on the far left in the scrumptious pink velvet flapper dress, which of course belonged to props.

  2. I drew a complete blank in a song that my group performed at a fiddle workshop. It was to highlight what we had accomplished that day. Fortunately, we were in a group, so I kind of muffed along. I knew it well and then blanked.

    1. It was my first (but not last) stage fright. I continued to try to get more comfortable in front of groups...pushed myself throughout life, and now know I really want to be behind the scenes of things!

  3. That's a lovely watercolor, the sunflower. It's always a great subject.
