Update about blogCa

I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

They walk and perform for the earth

They called themselves 
Listening to the Land - and this link continues their walking, in 2022 for sharing as Mummers across the width of England.

They walked 500 miles from London to Glasgow to give performances to attendees at the COP 26 conference in 2021.

"A group of around 20 climate activists have embarked on a 500 mile journey from London to Glasgow ahead of Cop26."

"he group have arrived in Scotland and are currently approaching Edinburgh ahead of the summit."

    I've been reading recently about the Jarrow Crusade where 200 men from that town walked 300 miles to present a petition to parliament demanding jobs. The Prime Minister refused to see them and their petition was handed over in their absence and has never been seen since.
