People piling on cars!
Seven Women on an old car (with a crank handle).
This is part of my ex-husband's collection of photos, and I am pretty sure one of these women was my mother-in-law in her youth, living on a farm in Michigan.
Here is the link to the Sepia Saturday suggestion this week!
Who knew that our chummy togetherness would be forbidden during a pandemic.
A quote to consider:
The difference between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.

...they look like simpler times.
ReplyDeleteHello, these are awesome family photos. I wish I had some old family photos, not sure who in my family has them. Take care, stay safe! Have a great day! Happy Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe question is, will we ever be able to enjoy this kind of chumminess again?
ReplyDeleteLovely old photos. It's nice to look back during these times of social isolation.
ReplyDeleteA perfect match to the prompt which reminded me I have a very similar photo but I went a different route. Maybe I should throw it in for good measure anyway? Happy Easter, Happy Spring! :)
ReplyDeleteThose old photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Those are two wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteThe magnolia tree photo is gorgeous! One of my Facebook friends has been posting the blooming of a magnolia outside her apartment -- a healing balm of nature amid the C19 pandemic. Also love the car photo, a hopeful portend of days ahead when we can once again see friends and family in person.
ReplyDeleteThose were the days, when we could smash into a car together. Ah.
ReplyDeleteFunny - I love the connection to social distancing, the catch phrase of the day! We will all need to pile into a car together when the virus crisis is over.
ReplyDeleteA very suitable photo for this weekend and maybe next Saturday too with the group of women. Funny that with today's cars no one ever sits on top of them like this. Mainly because they are too tall.g
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Everyone looks so carefree. Can't wait to get out of this house and go for a drive!
