Outdoor pottery - Art by the Tracks 2015 Part 10

Cathy and I have tried sharing one of those 10 foot square spaces at a couple of indoor shows, and so we tried an outdoor one.  Friend and fellow potter Sarah Vekasi is a moving force at organizing it, and it is sponsored by the Depot, a not-for-profit arts and crafts venue in Black Mountain.  And the profits from the show go to art programs in town.

Art by the Tracks Oct. 2015

The Art by the Tracks show happens in spring and fall.  We did both, and canceled one fall when the weather was too bad.  It was fun the times we sat outside all day selling our wares, but again the physical set-up and take-down were hard for me to do, so I said I'd no longer do outdoor shows.

Thanks for commenting! I tried moderating, thinking that would be a quicker way to check on comments, but actually it takes more time. So go ahead and talk amongst yourselves, and I'll check in when I can!!
