  3. Growing up the field across the street was filled with asters every fall. I think there ate several houses there now. Thanks for the memory.

    1. There are also some tiny white flowers, perhaps another variety. I liked that I could get the purple color in these to work, the ones further away I tried earlier just were washed out.

    1. I like that idea, calling them royal! I look forward to the yellow/gold/reds in trees this time of year, so think of it as a golden time of year.
