Sharing with Sepia Saturday and Eileen's Saturday's Critters
Sepia Saturday starts with a basket-full of puppies.
How about a box-full of cats?
Or
Some bewildered kittens who may have knocked out their mum.
Probably AI, but they do look cute! A log-full of otters?

Today's quote:
Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift. |

Tiny houses are not a new thing!
ReplyDeleteI miss Gary's blogging..but at least we can still see him..and the beagles..on fb.
I agree, being able to see his FB posts (lots of beagles!) as well as your blogs on FB as well. I'm doubly blessed I guess. Yes many tiny houses have begun to be built in the Asheville area (before the storm) for the un-housed.
Delete...the fawns and kitten make a wonderful image!
ReplyDeleteA bit of a strange combination.
DeleteA most pleasant and interesting collection. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, hope you get a Lacey lap time again soon!
DeleteI loved your assembly of photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks...I do borrow them mainly from the internet!
DeleteThese made me smile, Barb! I often wonder how couples managed to conceive more children in such cramped quarters like that little house!
ReplyDeleteHoping things are beginning to look up in Black Mountain. I am so sad that we did not take that planned road trip last summer, to see it before the flood. Who would ever have thought such a thing could happen.
It's just one of those things...just like now we have to deal with tightening our belts due to the tides of politics.
DeleteHello, Barb

ReplyDeleteThanks...sometimes that ole' phone camera does something well.
DeleteI choose joy and love your photos. Great to hear of the help going to the flood victims too!
ReplyDeleteGood to choose joy! It sometimes must be a push to find it hiding in the cracks of a darkness.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of images. Very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteA great collection of things filled with things. My fav' are the umbrella-covered baskets of cats. Hopefully they're not toooo far off the ground? :) (the kitten with the fawns is a close runner-up)
ReplyDeleteThis was exactly what we need right now. A box of cats, or puppies, or even chickens always brings hope and joy. And thanks for the quote. I think one of the author's books will make a great Christmas gift for my wife this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat an entertaining post! So much I liked, but my favourites were the fawns, the cowgirls and above all those appealing kittens with the humourous caption. Thank you for making me smile at them all.
ReplyDeleteSo many cute animals! Thanks for the smile.
