Happy May Day

Or Beltane as the pagans are wont to call it.

The wheel of the year

Today's quote:

"Holy persons draw to themselves all that is earthly. . . .
The earth is at the same time mother,
She is mother of all that is natural,
mother of all that is human.
She is the mother of all,
for contained in her
are the seeds of all.
Greetings to you, lovely and loving Mother!"

Hildegarde Von Bingen
Her saint's day is Sept 21

    1. That's great to remember! So fun that the schools actually supported the holiday- compared to the buttoned down book banning authorities these days!
