Update about blogCa
I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

...the last few year sunflowers seem to be popping up everywhere. You certainly found some towering ones, I hope that you have a sunny day.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing sunflowers. They're so tall and beautiful with their gorgeous big yellow flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom - these really caught my eye, and I was glad to be able to pull into the parking lot to take these photos. No sun here today, but we needed cooler weather and a little rain.
ReplyDeleteRobin - I've grown many a sunflower, but never quite this high!
They're very pretty!
