Update about blogCa

I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

The baby in the manger

I glued a wing back on the angel, and now it is part of the nativity scene in my daughter-in-law's and son's living room. Actually this picture was taken while Madam Angel still had a broken wing.  I'm not sure who the other being behind Joseph and Mary might be.  I see the 3 kings with their crowns. Any clues?

    In other Nativity Scenes I have seen a shepherd with a sheep over its shoulders, representing the "shepherd of the sheep", but this figure has a hat like a woman? and looks like it has a staff in its left hand? Still could be a shepherd...
