Sharing another visitor's photos, by Curt Ahlemeier in June 2025, which he shared on the internet. I visited the same sites in April this year. (Here and HERE.) But it's always fun to see someone else's' viewpoints.
More of Curt's photos soon!
Sharing with Wordless Wednesday on Tuesday.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention I like the header photo with the Joe Pye Weed and Monarch!
Arches is one of my favorite parks, beautiful landscapes.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting...I worked to capture those Monarchs, who visited my friend Helen's home. So glad she chose to have a butterfly garden. And she taught me the name of Joe Pye weed, though it took even longer to learn correct spelling of it's name. I don't know the story behind it though...
Delete...Mother Nature is an amazing sculpture!
ReplyDeleteTHanks for your comment Tom, and I noticed you saw my "mistake posting" already of the second group of these photos...they will come out again next week if I'm lucky. Yes, our earth is covered with such beautiful forms!
DeleteThat last group of rocks looks like people st a bus stop. How unromantic of me.
ReplyDeleteThis photographer didn't give the various names that these structures sometimes have. So it's quite possible that is named something like that!
DeleteI was never here, but I am glad to have visited Red Rock Country in places in Arizona.
ReplyDeleteYes, many places in the Southwest US are full of eroded rock formations...like Zion and Bryce, and the Grand Canyon!
DeleteIncredible rock formations - and the red rock against a blue sky is a winning combination.
ReplyDeleteThe drought in the area means even the trees and bushes are less green looking, but the cactus forms seem to be surviving (watching where I stepped for prickly pears everywhere.)
DeleteWhat a GORGEOUS pictures of the monarch butterfly!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteWhat a beautiful landscape!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is breath taking!
DeleteThis is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that I shared it with you.
