Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

Land of the Sky and other photos

 

Another lovely old postcard. Around Black Mountain used to look like this.


I'm delighted to  see that the photographer has put their name on this beautiful photo. It's not in North Carolina, I'm pretty sure!

    That's a very cool waterfall in the middle photo -- so tall but not overly voluminous.

    Hello,

    Beautiful postcards! I have seen the second waterfall in Oregon. It is called Multnomah Falls, very pretty!

      Well, considering how I pulled in a photo from Oregon...there are beautiful places almost everywhere...except maybe Kansas.

    I've been to that falls although it looked nothing like that when I was there. I think it was in the summer, not fall. Still very beautiful though.
