To finish my posts about a silly collection of windows of cars and trucks in front of me in traffic over several weeks in Tampa FL before I retired.

Ah ha, I could read this expiration date, 03-08. Thus this was taken between March 07, and August 2007 when I moved to North Carolina.
wish I had that bumper sticker!

...Barbara, you have amassed quite a collection, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it. I enjoy that I no longer have to drive in city traffic (much) except to doctor's appointments. But Asheville has less traffic I'm pretty sure.
DeleteA PBS mind in a Fox News world! That sums it all up!
ReplyDeleteYes, and at least NPR and PBS are surviving.
DeleteHow were these shot? Did you have a smart phone then?
ReplyDeleteNope, just a little digital Kodak camera...auto focus at least! And many stop lights!
DeleteWOW! That's quite a collection..........and organized!
ReplyDeleteNow you too can enjoy stopping in traffic.
DeleteGood use of your time at red lights!
ReplyDeleteBetter than texting! Which was just available on Blackberries at that time, I think. I had a flip phone. And a PDA with a stylus!
DeleteYour wide-ranging thoughts turn even traffic into something interesting. Good job Barbara
ReplyDeleteBetter than day dreaming, though there was probably a lot of that also!
DeleteI used to study other vehicles like this, mostly when stopped for endless roadworks.
ReplyDeleteI am always curious about why people used to decorate their cars with their opinions...which they have pretty much stopped doing.
DeleteGetting a feeling of life as one long queue... ;)
ReplyDeleteAh - definitely a philosophical approach.
DeleteNice collection, you captured a slice of life in the traffic zone. :)
ReplyDeleteIt really didn't take long to have a lot of photos. My job entailed driving to various places to purchase supplies for entertainment at the senior apartment building where I was activity director.
DeleteThis was a fun post, Barbara, I always enjoy taking photos of vanity plates and you have captured some as well. Bumper stickers are another interesting source of photos.
ReplyDeleteThere just don't seem to be as many these days, at least where I now live...bumper stickers. I am glad you do the fun license plates.
DeleteOh my! Make nm glad not to be in Tampa traffic .
ReplyDeleteA place where having air conditioned vehicles is a must!
