The original Ole's restaurant is still being renovated following the flood from Hurricane Helene. They have new interior walls up, and are about to lay floor tiles. It has two dining rooms, and hopefully will be a quieter place where you can have a conversation. This room (above) gets really loud!
I haven't eaten here since there are new owners...but I've heard the menu is still delicious.

I woke up before 6 this morning. Argh! It will be a long day. I went to bed a bit early probably - just bored last night. My eyes were bothering me a bit, so nothing I do was enjoyable!

...yes, TACO is trending!
ReplyDeleteHis awful narcissistic parade should have lots of sideline demonstrators in taco hats...unless they come up with a way to arrest them!
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI would love the shrimp tacos. I love your new header photo.
Take care, have a great day!
They only brought one (order error) and I ate it while they cooked a second...a good way for the shrimp to still be hot!
DeleteYou have many choices, and I like your pottery piece.
ReplyDeleteFunny thing happened today. I'll share tomorrow, rather than drop it here where you probably won't come back to read it.
DeleteLove your menu!!!! And that shrimp taco looks delicious. So much cleaner and better than what they serve up here.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess it's not terribly healthy - my shrimp taco. The other taco is definitely not healthy!
DeleteI hope you feel much better very soon. Dear friend, aloha, thank you for sharing these nice scenes
ReplyDeleteI had a nice nap today, meaning getting up to fix dinner at 7. Now to see how soon I get sleepy again!
DeleteHi Barbara, Really great looking shrimp taco! Sorry about the health issues. We love a good Thai restaurant and we're lucky enough to have one just a mile up the road. That 2 handled vase with the sponged glazes is really appealing! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteTHanks, I went for classic shaping on that vase, and made a couple of those...kept one for my own arrangements.
DeleteI love the taco menu!
ReplyDeleteTHanks...now for the parade on the 14th to have absolutely nobody come!
DeleteThat taco looks downright tasty. I rarely eat shellfish since Larry's allergic, and I don't want to seem to be mean since he loved it when he could have it. Tacos have certainly gained much in popularity recently!
ReplyDeleteI am sobgladbyou are posting photos of your pottery. Today's vase is so attractive, very classical.
Hope you are feeling better!
