Today's quote:
...fabulous feathered friends.
ReplyDeleteThey are always (well almost always) quite enjoyable to see and hear.
DeleteGreat bird pictures and paintings!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I wish I had paid more attention to birds throughout my life...I do have a friend who is such a birder she's gone on birding trips.
DeleteYes, great birds. I love this season for birding.
ReplyDeleteI like Reich's work.
I'm definitely just an admirer, not really a birder, since I can count on just my fingers how many I know by name.
DeleteI love the Sandhill cranes and it's fun to spot them in the fields here! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThese cranes remember their territories even though someone reshaped them and put in a golf course and some homes. I got a kick out of seeing some walking through a neighborhood once when visiting someone near Tampa.
Deletei do not see sandhill cranes her but was a sighting that would be. the pictures from the internet are quite amazing. the pottery is beautiful...have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI have really enjoyed listening to the little guys in my neighborhood as they called for mates. Now they don't sing as much, since they're busy raising their broods.
DeleteHello Barb,
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I mentioned I love your header photo, beautiful blossoms.
I enjoyed all the bird photos, the Cranes are a favorite. I do love the Hummingbird, the Woodpecker and Cardinal. Your Bluebird bowl is lovely. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Glad to join Saturday's Critters today, and to see not only your own photos but so many other people's. I've started to look at many of their posts on other days as well.
DeleteThe birds are quite wonderful to see. I like your bowl too.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I had only a couple of photos of the bowl and it sold within minutes of putting it out at the Tailgate Market, years ago. I didn't have the energy to make another one though!
DeleteThank you for reporting good news.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to click on some of those links and follow the stories.
DeleteGreat bird images, very nice to see. Your bluebird bowl is a treasure, wonderful creative work. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and appreciating my work. Hope your weekend is fantastic!
DeleteBeautiful bird pictures on your pottery, especially the cheery little bluebird.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Beauty and the uplift. Barbara. Aloha
ReplyDeleteBarbara, Thanks for the great photos and the positive updates. Here's a downer though...there is an open hunting season for Sandhill Cranes here in Tennessee. We used to live in a Chicago migration flyway for the cranes and we loved it when they would pass overhead squawking as they flew by. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDeleteLove your hummingbird platter!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of photos and painting mingled with your pottery.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful.
