Update about blogCa

I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

Friday Power Lunch in VA

Neat new podcast I just found, thanks to another blogger!

Friday Power Lunch

It talks about misogyny and patriarchy and the forces plotting against powerful women!

If you're a male and a feminist, you will understand this. If you're a male and among those who support a patriarchal view of the world, I'm sorry. This may hurt your feelings a bit.

  2. Barbara, No problem with powerful women as far as I'm concerned. When I retired...after managing 400 people coast to coast, I discovered who the power broker was in our household...and it wasn't me! FYI, I loved having strong women on my staff when I was working. They brought a different point of view to the table and they could back off some members of the company's top management as well! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Thanks for commenting! I tried moderating, thinking that would be a quicker way to check on comments, but actually it takes more time. So go ahead and talk amongst yourselves, and I'll check in when I can!!
