I remember the first time I saw glacier melt in a lake...it's so unreal. I don't know where this is however, nor who the photographer was.

Standing Rock, on Western Side of the Road Between the Colorado Border and Ship Rock on Hwy 491, New Mexico

Shiprock, NM - in Navajo the peak is called tse bida’hi, “winged rock,” and it figures prominently in Navajo mythology.

I'm awestruck by the remains of these ancient volcanoes in the southwest USA. They are the opposite of  "small things" aren't they!
