Oct. 12, 2025 - red shows on dogwood and sourwood trees near apartment building downhill from mine. I can just begin to see mountain ridge in distance.

ReplyDeleteI think having an enjoyable scene that I’m already looking towards regularly made it easy to have a progression - though i did vary the views quite a bit. I challenge others to do a similar exercise!

ReplyDeleteI mentioned before how I already am looking at the same scene daily, and just had the fun oof taking 2 or so photos each day…some of course got tossed!

ReplyDeleteSame here, except for a few late bloomers. I was trying to figure out why the mountains already look grey, and I think it’s from the air putting a blue tint on them. No colors left up on their slopes.

ReplyDeleteWell all are through the windows actually, just some taken right up against the glass. So the colors might be a bit muted due to the green tint of 2 panes of glass!

ReplyDeleteI’m not sure about the peaceful part of November…will be waiting to see if I can enjoy it. I tend to get anxious with plans for holidays. Glad you feel that way though!
DeleteIt was interesting to watch the progression throughout the days. We're still seeing a mixture of bare and colorful trees.
ReplyDeleteYes, now it's colors hanging on in single or small groups of leaves, with the skeletons showing all that has been shrouded all summer of the trees' branches.
