  2. ...Buffalo's Market Arcade (also known as the Palace Arcade), possesses one of the best interior pedestrian spaces in the city. Three levels of shops and offices ranged on either side of the covered "street" created a splendid urban environment that is comfortable all year round. Rochester's Reynold Arcade is an eleven-story, Art Deco style commercial / office building with arcaded shops on the first floor. It was built in 1933. It's nice to to see theGrove Arcade.

    1. Great to hear Mr. Grove wasn't the first to build an Arcade. Sorry I didn't include its history. These sound like equally (or better) places to visit.

  3. The mall looks very appealing in both architecture and types of shops and restaurants.

    1. Well, I tried three Muskateer ladies, but it just didn't work. Rowdy, mmm, you are giving us more credit and energy than we perhaps deserve!

    1. It sure was a good day, when the body is completely tired out and you've laughed till you cough (at least that's what I do.)

    1. OK, maybe we should start something like the Ladies Aid Society...which simply meant meeting for lunch or something else.

  9. Since I'd already read the Sequel, had to see the Original! The inside of that Arcade is fabulous too. I wonder, was it always Shops? Or was it reimagined at some point in History? I turn 68 this Month, it's the New 28, Right? *Winks* My Dear Mom always added 10 Years to her Age if anyone asked, she said Women lied in the wrong direction. Adding a Decade meant people would always compliment her sincerely and tell her she looked Ahhhmazing, and she said, who doesn't wanna hear that? *LOL* I miss her, she and I always did together what you and your Dear Friends do, she could Marathon Shop the Life out of me, I could never keep Pace.
