Miscellaneous week ending

From the internet

This is your brain!

researcher Alexander Shapson-Coe decided to focus their gaze—and the full power of electron microscopy—on just one cubic millimeter of the temporal cortex.

The dent in my landlady's brand-new car. Mea culpa.

Before hiking the trail to High Falls.

Almost finished with the 1-1/2 mile hike...yes were were plumb tired out. Then had our picnic.

I'll share the wonderful High Falls soon!

  1. Hello,
The gerrymandering is awful, they have to find a way to cheat and win.
It is great to see you all out hiking to the falls.
    The sunrise photo is beautiful.
Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!

    1. Hi Eileen...politics has always been a dirty subject to my way of thinking. The hike was extraordinary.

  3. That dent can probably be pulled out with a dent puller. It doesn't look very serious.

    1. It was so easy to make such a dent...just shows how little metal is in side panels I think.

    1. I don't know if ours is the worst in NC, but it's among them...since Asheville has lots of Democratic voters, but they are shuttled into totally red districts.

    1. The hike and waterfalls were definitely the event I'd choose to remember for this summer, rather than the accident.

    1. I did comment as I panted my slow way back up the inclined path, that they might be best sending a medical team to take me back up the hill. There were roads around and I really really didn't want to climb the hill...Cedar Mountain, actually. But this gal just kept on going, and slept a good 12 hours the next night! And am not sore, like I expected!!
