The influential idea that in the past men were hunters and women were not isn’t supported by the available evidence
A very interesting article...after the authors get through disclaiming all the previous errors in research, they finally provide a reasoned presentation of the physiology of women vs men, and that women were at least as well equipped and somewhat better, to do the hunting! Link is here.

ReplyDeleteEven the comedy animation, Flintstones, gave this impression. Many scientists have also assumed the division of labor based on physiological differences. This article gives another viewpoint.
