What a beauty? I never see them on the highway, but they are frequent visitors to our mountain town, parked along the places tourists like to see.
I had to take a picture of this one for Tim...who was waxing poetic about one he once owned, and thinking he'd call they guy he sold it to and maybe get it back. Right!
Update about blogCa
I-40 picked up the old Rte. 66 somewhere along the way, maybe Little Rock, maybe Oklahoma City. But it is the 100th anniversary of Rte 66 so I enjoyed thinking about my parents driving on part Of it in. St. Louis at least. Here we continued from Santa Rosita to Gallup NM, then left both highways to go north to CO.

I actually did call the guy, and he said I could get it back, and probably at a good deal, but he's started a restoration (meaning that it's now stripped) so it's farther from drivable than when I sold it, and probably not doable for me.

That's too bad...but I bet you can find one if you try. Craig's List? Friends who look around for you?
