Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Some local lights in evening

An event gazebo at the Monte Vista Hotel in Black Mountain.

Approaching the Monte Vista Hotel

Since I'm not driving around at night, I don't know if the stag is there at other times of eyar.

I don't know the name, but this is a wonderful building for events and retreats.

I couldn't get a better shot of my friends' yard and decorate children's swing set, because of two cars behind mine honking.

  4. Barbara, we love Christmas lights and tasteful decor. Some folks are over the top with blow up figures but at least they are in the spirit of Christmas. Very little decorating for us this year due to my wife's broken ankle and my ongoing issues but such is life. At least we can enjoy other's handiwork! Happy New Year! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  6. People shouldn’t honk at Christmas and at very few other times too.
