Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Bounty and Soul

When I go to PT, I park right next to the office of Bounty and Soul.

They have great big green trucks with food painted on the sides...which go all over the community sharing food from the larger pantry "Manna Food Bank."

Before COVID, they would come to my apartment complex (senior citizens) and give away free produce weekly. It was a highlight of our week often, and a chance to meet our neighbors. We had to stop when meeting indoors was no longer safe, (COVID). They started giving out meals and produce in different settings, keeping up the work of feeding those in need. I think most of these silly vegetable people are volunteers.

  4. What an idea! We have a good community food bank, but they don't do that.

  5. A good service, just a pitt that it is needed.
However it does help some and also brings others together. A double plus!!
