Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Joyous flowers
Since taking this photo at church last year, and this Sunday the church service is canceled because of Covid-19 virius...I gladly share this bouquet today. I'm availing myself of the beautiful flowers of my memories.

DeletePretty! Some of the churches here were closed today; others stayed open, apparently thinking prayer would protect them. Having seen a church that was struck by lightning and another one bombed out (in Berlin), I'm pretty sure prayer does not work like that.
