Update about blogCa

Who knew all this would happen afterwards! Flat Creek in November, 2024. Much changed by the force of the hurricane floods in Sept. 2024. The deck of the bridge is now under that pile of debris.

Other azaleas

We've seen Flame Azaleas, and the really bright pink ones in my neighborhood.

Today I found some dwarf ones, and a large collection of white ones.

Once again the pruning efforts have left this small bush looking pretty unbalanced.

I only saw bumble bees on all the azaleas, no honey bees.

Today's quote:
Patriotism is a kind of religion; it is the egg from which wars are hatched. - Guy de Maupassant, short story writer and novelist (5 Aug 1850-1893)

  2. Hello,
The azaleas are pretty, I like the pink and the white ones. We have a white one that was planted when we bought the home over 30 years ago. It is big now. Have a great day and a happy week ahead.

    1. When they are allowed to grow big, they sure can be huge.

  3. Over-pruned or not, the flowers look good to my northern eyes.
