Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

Colorful azaleas

A huge multiple-bushes combined is located between my apartment and my next door neighbor.

And these are the bushes in front of my apartment.

Today's quote:

But I also say this: that light
is an invitation
to happiness,
and that happiness,

when it's done right,
is a kind of holiness,
palpable and redemptive.

- Mary Oliver, Poppies

  1. Hello, Barbara

The azaleas look so pretty, we have a small one that has this similar color. Great quote! Have a happy day!

  4. Wow! Someday I'll get to photograph the rhododendrons that bloom here. No azaleas around here.

    1. These seem to be doing better on the shady side (facing north) than the ones on the sunny side which get much more heat.
